The Phoenix spacecraft has tasted Martian water for the first time, scientists reported Thursday.They were able to taste it by melting icy soil in it's lab instruments. Scientist open champagne when they received the confirmation last Wednesdat that the soil contained ice. And because of this discovery by Phoenix,the space agency announced that it would extend the mission of Phoenix for an extra five weeks until the end of September, $ 2 million for the price tag.

I think in this new discovery of Phoenix. They give people new hope for a new place to live in.. So,it's really proven that people from earth have the chance to live in Mars but still scientist and researchers are still looking for more iinformation regarding the possible existence of other minerals in Mars..
