Hi! I am David weeks, an 8 weeks student in CIA. I arrived here in CIA last December 11, 2011 at 1 o’clock am. That time, I was very nervous and we saw Filipinos in CIA. There are many Filipino teachers.

 

On the day we had our first activity that is PELT. It is so difficult. My level is D1. I don’t like this level. But it’s oka

y. I met new friends here at CIA. They are Jonson, Jerry, Evan, and many more. My teachers are teacher Derly

n, teacher Paul, teacher Niǹa, teacher Jeremia, teacher Norman and teacher Cane.

 

My mom was the one who decide for me to join CIA camp. At first, it was hard but, it was fun. I like teachers be

cause they very kind and fun. At first, I felt nervous when I talked with Filipino teachers because they are good.

 

Now, I like to study English with friends and teachers. Every Saturday and Sunday, we have activities. Activity is

very fun and exciting. We ride in an edge coaster, go shopping in SM mall, go to Plantation Bay, home visit, zip l

ine, Crocodile Farm, and shopping to Gaisano mall and many more. This is very fun.

 

I like the most is Plantation Bay activity. It was fun and exciting. Going to SM mall is also exciting because it is b

ig and there are lots of stores that can be found in there.

 

There are lots of things I’ve learned in CIA. I was able to develop my reading, writing, listening, speaking, vocab

ulary and even my grammar skills. I also learned some Filipino cultures. Now, I know how to communicate well

with my friends and teachers using English language. I study English because I know it is useful for me in the fut

ure, especially when I work in foreign countries. English language is being used all around the world because it i

s the international language that is why every one of us really needs to study English.

 

Joining CIA camp was fun and exciting. It helps me to develop my knowledge about English. I can’t learn all this

things without the help of Korean staff, Filipino staff and teachers. Even if the schedule was very busy, still it help

ed me a lot.
