MANILA, Philippines - A 15-year-old boy was killed while his 17-year-old buddy was wounded after a gang of youths attacked them in Manila's Tondo district, a radio report said early Thursday.

Radio dzBB's Louie Garcia reported that the fatality, initially identified as Argiano Bulan, 15, died on arrival at Mary Johnston Hospital.

His companion, Junuc Daclitin, 17, was rushed to the same hospital where he remained under observation.

Police are now looking for five men who reportedly blocked the victims' paths in Moriones, Tondo, then attacked them before fleeing.

* I don't understand why some people could act killing their fellowman. Especially to minors who didn't do them any harm at all, all they did was just passed by their district. I felt depress some people could do such crime. So as much as possible, we need to be must extra careful whenever we go especially to places where we are not familiar of. I hope the police would find the attackers because those people are dangerous. *
