영어에서 가장 중요한 것이 뭘까? 듣기, 말하기, 쓰기, 읽기....
이 모든 것이 중요한 것은 맞지만 기본, 뼈대가 없으면 영어는 한계를 맞이하게 된다.
영어에서 가장 중요한 것은 단어라고 생각한다.

단어를 모르면 문장도 만들수도 없고, 듣지도 못하고, 쓰기, 읽기도 마찬가지이다.
하지만 그냥 눈으로 보는 단어는 절대 영어에 도움이 되지 않는다.
내 입에서 나와야 단어를 정확하게 습득한 것이니, 단어를 외울때 큰 소리로 말하면서 발음을 체크하면서 습득하길 바란다.
이젠 한국에서 무식하게 빽빽이 쓰며, 단어를 외우지 않기를 바란다.

그리고, 영영 사전을 보고, 의미를 파악한 후 한국어 사전을 보기 바란다.
그러면 좀 더 이해하기도 암기하는 것도 쉽게 된다.

그리고 문장과 함께 단어 공부를 하시길.. 단어만 외우면 문장을 만들어서 사용하는 것이 쉽지 않고,
단어의 쓰임새도 틀리게 되니 완성된 문장과 함께 외우세요.

그리고 예문을 만들고, 주위에 있는 영어 선생님께 문장을 확인받으세요..
그러면 자기 것이 됩니다.

 1. accomplish .v 성취하다.
- to succeed in doing something
ex) We accomplish a lot at work this week

2. apathy .n 냉담, 냉정
- a feeling of having no interest in or enthusiasm about anything, or not being
willing to make any effort to change things.
ex) When I meet a person who are not kind, I have apathy to them

3. aspiring .a 포부가 있는
- hoping and trying to be successful at something, especially in your career
ex) He is an aspiring engineer.

4. better off .a 형편이 더 나은
- in a better situation
ex) We'd be much better off telling people the truth

5. blindfold .n 눈가리개
- something that is tied over someone's eyes so that they cannot see
ex) When I sleep, I usually use a blindfold. because I can sleep easily.

6. bunch .n 무리, 단체
- a group of people
ex) she came to my house with the whole bunch of her children.

7. buy into .ph (많은 사람들이 믿는 것을) 믿다.
- to believe something that a lot of other people believe
ex) you don't just buy into the trend.

8. offend .v 기분 상하게 하다.
- to make someone upset and angry by doing or saying something
ex) Silly politician in our country offend a lot of citizen.

9. scope .n 범위
- the things that a particular activity, organization, subject
ex) These issues were outside the scope of the article.

10. start from scratch. 처음부터 다시 시작하다.
- to start from the beginning again.
ex) I think we'd better start over from scratch.
