나는 요새 학원 방학을 내고 넷플릭스로 공부를 하고있다.
넷플릭스로 어떻게 공부하냐면 넷플릭스 영상마다 다르지만 영상마다 음성/자막 선택하는 기능이 있어서
한국영상에도 영어 음성을 들을수있고 영어 자막을 추가해서 볼수 있다! 난 이게 되게 좋은방법이라 생각한다.
흥미도 넘치고 듣기가 부족하면 음성을 영어로 선택해서 리스닝을 늘리고 이 상황에서 어떻게,
어떤 표현을 쓰는지 보려면 자막을 영어로 바꿔서 쓰면 아주 도움이 된다.
그리고 난 넷플릭스 아이디를 공유중인데 아이디 하나로 여러명이서 돌려볼수 있으므로
넷플릭스 이용하는 친구 한명 잡아서 아이디를 얻길 추천한다.
넷플릭스를 보면서 한국드라마에 빠지게된게 약간흠이기도하지만
김씨네 편의점 이라는 유명한 넷플릭스는 토론토 현지에 실제로 있는 편의점이라고 한다.
아마도 퀸스트릿트였던거 같은데 한국에 돌아가기전에 한번 방문해볼 예정이다.
또 라임에듀 언어교환모임에서 함께 넷플릭스를 보면서 모르는 단어를 공책에 메모해서
그 단어를 찾아서 외우는 방법을 공부했었다. 그이후로 공부하다가 안풀릴때는 항상 넷플릭스를 보면서 뇌를 좀 식히는 편이다. 사실 이곳에서 TV를 볼 기회가 별로 없기때문에 주로 영상을 보면서 공부하시는분들에게 추천하는 공부법이다.
