PLACES TO VISIT IN LANAO DEL NORTE

Tinago Falls is a waterfall in Iligan City, Lanao del Norte in the southern Philippine island of Mindanao.[1]

It is one of the main tourist attractions in Iligan, a city known as the City of Majestic Waterfalls.

Tinago is a Filipino term meaning "hidden", the falls being hidden in a deep ravine. Trekking to the falls requires approximately 500 descending steps called the winding staircase.

The falls is high, its very cold waters cascading beautifully into a deep and calm basin-like pool which appears like a blue-colored lagoon. Under the falls is a small cave where people can enter and listen to the rumbling waters.

Maria Cristina Falls is awaterfall of the Agus Riveron the island of Mindanao. It is sometimes called the "twin falls" as the flow is separated by a rock at the brink of the waterfall.[1] It is a landmark of Iligan City, nicknamed the City of Majestic Waterfalls, because of the presence of more than 20 waterfalls in the city.

Hindang Falls
About 45-minute drive from the city proper and only 15-minute walk to the falls site. It is visible during rainy season.  Amidst high rocks and greens feel the cool whiff of fresh water quenching the thirst of high energy seekers.  June to September are the best months to visit the falls.

Camp Sabros – Sitio Baras, Kapatagan, Digos City, Davao del Sur. TheCamp Sabros “Kapatagan” is the one of the main tourist attraction in digos city. This is one of the adventures during a short vacation if you are in our province. Anyway the name Camp Sabros is from word meaning of Two Brothers (Sacdalan Brothers), established on year 1994 and one of the owners is a former active mountaineer in Davao. This place is found up in the cool highlands of Kapatagan, Digos City and obviously the place is very cold even if you’re strolling at around 2pm and also observed some Rainshower which is normal in this place.

Discover Mimbalot Falls an 11 km drive from the center of the city, located at Barangay Buru-un, Iligan City. It is approximately 90 ft. and 18 ft. wide. A breathtaking place to commune with nature, and take a dip in the cool fresh water pools around the area.
