Filipino Tradition plays an important role in the Philippine culture.

In Filipino culture tradition, there is usually a time of visitation and mourning for a period of up to a week after

the deceased has passed away, allowing the opportunity for many family members, friends, and acquaintances

to pay their last respects.

Even in this difficult time, the genuine hospitality of the Philippine people shines through.

Meals and snacks are generally provided by the family to each guest, and even those who are not known by the family

are treated as special guests of high honor.

As a way of expressing sympathy and thankfulness for the familys hospitality, flowers, food, and money are often offered

in these Filipino traditions. But in many cases, a funeral lasting for a week can consume all of a familys already meager

finances, but the Filipino culture tradition demands this, and it is expected and not unwelcome in most cases.

Before the burial itself, a wake involving close friends and relatives is performed from the home to the graveyard. Sometimes

Although it is a time of mourning and sadness, the Philippine peoples hospitality and kindness are still displayed brightly.

The Filipino culture tradition of burial is yet another testimony to the unfailing and genuine kindheartedness of the people

of the Philippines.there is a stop at a church on the way. The coffin is carried in a hearse, but all others walk behind in the

procession.
