Bucket Shrimp

A lot has changed since I first explored Orchid Street way back in college. Some of the old restaurants I used to visit have closed and were replaced by new establishments. Bucket Shrimp is one of the recent additions in Orchid Street. After hearing a lot of good feed backs about Bucket Shrimp from my friends, I decided to pay them a visit.



The restaurant which opens up to the street is easily accessible to potential customers who happen to pass by the establishment. It has ample space and can comfortably accommodate more than forty persons.
Unlike most restaurants, they have a unique method of setting up your table. They cover the table with manila paper and place a semi transparent paper for your plate. They provide you with plastic gloves to encourage you to eat with your hands.

Cajun Shrimp

Bucket Shrimps specialty is boiled shrimp. They have three flavors for their boiled shrimp which are Cajun, Garlic, and Curry. They also have other delicious choices in their menu such as Wing-it (chicken wings), Liempo Loco (pork belly). We ordered the Cajun Shrimp and Liempo Loco on our first visit. Serving size for their shrimps is good for 2 to 3 persons while the Liempo Loco can be shared by to 2 persons. The presentation of their food is simple and straight forward. The ingredients were fresh and the food was well prepared. The prices were very affordable, if you take the serving size into consideration.





Service was excellent and our food was served within a reasonable time. I had a great time at Bucket shrimp and I will definitely return and try their Curry Boiled Shrimp and Hot legs on our next visit. Bucket Shrimp is one of the few new places in Cebu worth exploring.
