Aliwan Fiesta is an annual event that gathers different cultural festivals of the Philippines in Star City Complex in Pasay City wherein contingents compete in dance parade and float competitions, as well as in a beauty pageant. Aliwan Fiesta, which began in 2003, aims to showcase the different Filipino cultures and heritage not only to the people in Metro Manila but also to the rest of the world.Aliwan is a tagalog word for 'entertainment' or 'amusement'.

The competition was called as "Grand Festival of Champions, Aliwan Fiesta", wherein different Philippine Festivals contingents gathered and compete through showcasing their dance, culture, pageantry, musicality and creativity of every regions. The grand parade was held last Saturday, April 26, 2014, in Aliw Theatre at the Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP), in Manila. Lumad Basakanon, of Brgy. San Nicolas, was a Hall of Famer for three consecutive Aliwan Fiesta championships last 2006-2008 and now they are back on the ground for 1 million grand prize as Aliwan 2014 Champion.
